Carolwood LP is a fully integrated real estate private equity firm formed by principals Andrew Shanfeld and Adam Rubin in 2014. The firm’s objective is to acquire a diverse portfolio of investment grade assets ripe for repositioning and long-term growth.

Our private equity arm focuses on repositioning businesses that provide long-term value for our partners and the communities in which they operate. Using a flexible and opportunistic approach, we combine traditional private equity and distressed financing opportunities. We invest in companies we believe to be poised for growth, stressing selectivity rather than volume, in order to maximize returns.
Real Estate
The Carolwood real estate team emphasizes the purchase of assets where the relationship between risk and return is asymmetrical and where we believe relationships and knowledge advantages create outsized returns for our investors and partners.
